Artist Blog - Tomer Hanuka

Tomer Hanuka is an artist who has an amazing talent of illustrating that I am really illustrated in. As an Illustrator and cartoonist Tomer hanuka was based in New York City. In 2008 a book cover he created won the British design Museum award as part of the Penguin Classics Deluxe Edititons. Tomer was very famous for what he does and has worked with several clients such as Time Magazine, MTV, Nike, DC comics and many more. His Blogs I found were not really written but more like visual blogs with just only pictures that create some sort of story and not just any pictures but his own artworks. I think The stories behind his visual blogs are for the viewer to figure out themselves and to try see what the message of his artwork is. The Art piece from Tomer's Blog was very interesting to me so I chose it.                

This Artwork From Tomer is called Men Have Issues (NSFW) and it was For a Playboy's Adviser. I really liked the way he Illustrated the images and put colour into them making them look alive. It took me back to them comic book days when I loved to read comics and draw them on another sheet of paper which was how I practiced Illustration. Tomer is a very talented Artist and I hope I can or have what it takes to become abit like him in the future skill-wise.
