The mona lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci!
The mona lisa is a 16th century portrait, one of the most famous and the most rare paintings in the world, it was done by one of the most famous artists of all time. leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci created this Marster piece using oil paint on wood, and measures 77 x 53 cm. It is currently on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France owned by the Government of France. This painting is known for its smile and other sections of its features. Leonardo was also a master at illuminating his work with light by applying thin layers of paint. This portrait was painted during The Italian Renaissance, a period of great cultural change and achievement in Europe that spanned the period from the end of the 13th century to about 1600, marking the transition between Medieval and Early Modern Europe, the Italian Renaissance is best known for Renaissance literature, poets and writers.
